I am the chairperson and project coordinator of African Refugge Women since 2003. I have been worked to improve the quality of life for African refugee women and their families in London by providing an array of services that build self-reliance and foster personal, educational and professional achievement. I have been train to assess the pre-employment and educational needs of unemployed African people and offer supportive services that open doors to employment and/or further education. I am adequately trained and attend training on a regular basis, training and workshops organised by various statutory and voluntary agencies on various issues such as domestic violence, rape adviser/counsellor, immigration, education, employment and training, health issues, debt, and advocacy work skills.
