CCFCI is a non-profit community based organization that provides high quality, professional counseling, advocacy and educational services for Nothern New Mexico racial and ethnic minority population. The organization make funding request from various government entities to provide comprehensive individual and family services that include a Community development Program "En Nuestra Familia Comienza El Mundo:, this includes, Support Services for Immigrants, Individual and Family Program, General Counseling Program, Women's Substance Use Program, Intimate Partner Violence Program, and a Volunteers Program. The organization has been providing various services to the multi-ethnic minority families referred from the community collaborative system network. The target population focus are those individuals and families and members that tend to fall through the cracks of the current behavioral health system which attributes to the current disproportions in the number of individuals and families in need of services experiencing difficulty in accessing the services, i.e., mental health, advocacy, education and prevention. Many of these individuals end up incarcerated and or deported back to their country of origin which ends in the disruption of the family system.
