Since 1971, Lake County Free Clinic has provided vital medical and dental care to individuals from northeast Ohio. In fact, Lake County Free Clinic is the only free clinic serving patients from Lake, Cuyahoga, Ashtabula and Geauga counties, along with patients from other locations. Lake County Free Clinic exists to address the unmet healthcare needs of qualified residents in our community through the provision of quality medical and dental care. Last year, the clinic provided more than 3,700 appointments, free of charge, to individuals who are uninsured, underinsured or otherwise unable to access much-needed healthcare. Patients are asked to consider making a $20 donation for their care, though it is not a requirement. Most patients donate, and these contributions make up between 5 and 10 percent of LCFC’s annual income. LCFC employs five medical professionals to work directly with patients. Combined, these employees have more than 73 years of experience in the medical field. More than 30 medical providers donate their time and expertise to give our patients the best possible care. Six of our primary volunteers have, combined, more than 230 years of experience.
