Samaritan Inns’ mission is to provide structured housing, treatment and recovery services in an environment of support and accountability, that give homeless or at-risk individuals who suffer from drug and alcohol addictions the opportunity to rebuild their lives. Over the past thirty years, Samaritan Inns' programs have treated and saved more than 12,000 citizens in the District of Columbia. We have successfully designed and operated a comprehensive continuum of care featuring a residential treatment and recovery program. Our services give clients the tools to sustain long-term sobriety and build a foundation for independent living through intensive addiction treatment, transitional housing, health education and screenings, and ongoing case management. Individuals who graduate from the Samaritan Inns Recovery Continuum become contributing members of society -- living, working, and providing positive outcomes in their communities.
