National Rural Support Services (NRSS) is a non-profit, voluntary organization, formed by a group of youth volunteers and started activities in 2015 and registered in 2016 under the Societies Act XXI 1860 in the office of the Provincial Registrar Joint Stock Companies & Societies, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Peshawar. Regn; No. 4589/5/8855 dated 19-8-2016 Goal:- “To build capacity and support the marginalized groups of society ensuring equal opportunities to social services without discrimination to uplift their socio-economic life for sustainable development.”Objectives: 1. To promote basic human rights, empowerment of women, children, youth, aged, sick and minorities, protected environment and peace building through mobilization, advocacy, research, awareness rising campaigns and information dissemination. 2. To improve quality of socio-economic life through improvement of health and education services, provision of clean drinking water, improvement of health and hygiene, protection of natural resources as well as economic empowerment of the poor and marginalized segment of the society. 3. To respond to humanitarian emergencies by helping people cope with crisis, through emergency relief, preparedness and post-crisis recovery and rehabilitation as well as disaster risk reduction.
