Beacon of Hope Uganda is a community based humanitarian service and rural development organization founded in 2006 with a vision to help those least able to help themselves. To help achieve this vision, we are focused on a range of programs in Uganda, including: education, micro-finance and small business support, job skills / leadership development and training, health, environment and more. Beacon of Hope Uganda designs and conducts programs which contribute to the welfare and social productivity of disadvantaged individuals and communities with an emphasis on children and youth. Beacon of Hope Uganda (BoHU) addresses some of the most pervasive problems in rural Uganda, including HIV/AIDS, malaria, hunger, education, poverty, access to clean drinking water, and orphaned children. In addition, we focus on empowering the youth of Uganda with different skills and leadership training.
