Humanitarian Aid (HA) is a Non - Governmental Organization (NGO) established in the year 2012. The founders are from different profession backgrounds, experiences, skills and abilities to form a meaningful team for community transformation. Our team is of well qualified, highly trained and strongly motivated man power that hold university degrees from well – accredited universities. We are proud to be one of the NGOs in Uganda who knows that our growth and success is linked to our commitment to excellence and professional service we provide to our clients. We are predominantly in Vocation skills and Community Health; with special focus on prevention strategy and linking the community to the health centers for curative and professional medical management of illnesses. We conduct community sensitization on Sexual Gender Based Violence (SGBV), HIV/AIDs, Adolescent Reproductive Health (ARH) Life skills, Drug and substance demand reduction, Malaria Prevention practices among other illnesses In addition, we identify and support elderly with basic needs and vulnerable Adolescents (Child mothers, school dropouts, slum youth, and orphans) with marketable vocation skills training frequently offering these children psychosocial support to enable them continue and finish up the skill. Currently, Humanitarian Aid is undertaking community health activities in the district of Yumbe, Bidibidi refugee settlement and the host population.
