We aim to help local people using tourism as a tool for development, by using tourism income to fund our projects and helping young people who wish to join the industry develop the skills and ideals they need to succeed and become valued members of society. We help young people develop their art, dance and musical skills so that they can perform or sell their work to earn money. Our soccer initiative engages troubled young people and teaches teamwork and determination. We help young people without family support to get access to schooling and health insurance. We help teenagers who cannot afford to continue their education by teaching them skills which will help them earn a living and thrive as adults such as, hospitality, English, computing and tailoring. During school holidays we invite young people who are interested in tourism and hospitality to intern at our sister hostel Red Rocks Rwanda to learn more about the industry. Now, several members of staff at the hostel are young people who learned their hospitality, cooking and English skills through our NGO and are now valued members of the Red Rocks family. We have established a co-operative of young women who support their families or have married at a very young age. Through this co-operative these young women are able to help themselves with our support to build a stronger future by learning new skills and taking part in income-generating activities.
