National Training and Conference of the arts in Zimbabwe (NATCAZ) is an organization with a special mission to promote the Arts and Culture industry to become one of the biggest contributor to the GDP by ensuring that the youth below the age of 19 are directly the major players in that development. By training teachers in the various arts disciplines ensures that the youth get involved as early as at primary level catching them young. The organization also focuses on child headed families by directly exposing them to projects such as Tie & Dye, Screen Printing, Batik and Garment making so that this target group is engaged in self sufficient projects by providing the necessary skills that turn them to become professional producers. Thus, the rural disadvantaged youth have benefited tremendously from textile design projects. The youth are also trained to compose music as well as sound engineering in preparation for projects such as the Music Cross Roads Academy programs. Other youth are also involved in visual arts and crafts. All programs that are done by these youth are then show cased at various forums such Youth Festivals and Exhibitions. A lot of cultural exchange targeted at these youth also involve some regional youthful groups. NATCAZ has penetrated the rural areas supported by the local leadership who are the custodians of culture NATCAZ has worked with Youth Organizations such as Together as One (TAO), Rozario Memorial Trust and National Commission for UNESCO..
