MissionBox's July 2020 Engagement Communities Upgrade is focused on bringing forth customer-requested functionality focused on enhancing content and administrative management of groups.
Publish Date Now Available on Articles
Members creating articles can now add a custom published date to an article after it has been published.
The Publish Date and Publish Time fields will appear in edit mode on a published article under Main Image.
Users editing or creating articles can type in the publish date or they can click the calendar icon within the field so choose from a date selector.
Users editing or creating articles can also type custom time into the Publish Time field.
The Publish Date and Publish Time will by default be set to the date and time that the article was published but can be updated. Publish Date and Publish Time values do not display in view mode on the article but will apply to panels that are sorted by Date Published.
New Sort Options for Group Layout Panels
Group Administrators will now have the ability to sort panels displaying Articles, that are set to Automatic for "Content Selection", to sort "Alphabetically", by "Date Published" or by "Date Modified".
The new sort options are available under the Priority field when a panel is set to a "Content Selection" of Automatic.
The full set of options under the "Priority" field are Popularity, Date Published, Date Modified and Alphabetical.
Users will now also be able to sort Article searches by Popularity, Date Published, Date Modified and Alphabetical.
Custom Address Line on Resources
Users creating or editing Resources can now add a custom address or location/address related notes in the Address Location Field located under the Location field when editing the Contact Information for a Resource.
Text entered into the Address Location Details field will display in the panel preview for the resource on the Group Layout page or in the Resources search page.
Option to Hide "Join" Request Button on Groups
Group Administrators can now choose to display the "Join" request button for groups or hide it completely in Group "Settings".
Admin can choose to display or not display the "Join" button by clicking on the toggle to the right of the Allow Join Requests setting field in the Group Settings page.
